5th NACDA NORTH AMERICA CONVENTION

MINNESOTA 2019

NACDA Minnesota branch is the second created branch in North America in June 2006. This branch has about 27 members, most of them residing within the twin cities area of the land of 10,000 lakes. This branch is unique in its own, some of its members reside in other states and countries like Chicago IL, Texas, Brazil, etc...


NACDA Minnesota was the host to the fifth NACDA-NA convention with 220 participants from all over the world (105 Awing sons and daughters and 115 non-Awing elements). This convention was graced with the presence of Mende Nkeum Ngong of Awing as a special guest.


The theme was: "Humanitarian assistance to the Awing people affected by the crisis in Cameroon".


The ceremonies which last for 4 days from Thursday to Sunday was rich with meetings, cultural activities, a fundraising gala night and a goodbye BBQ.
