1ST NACDA NORTH AMERICA CONVENTION

DMV 2011 (DC, Maryland & Virginia)

DMV branch formerly NACDA USA is the first existing branch of NACDA in North America, it is the most populated of all the branches, it's member are spread in DC, Maryland and Virginia. The DMV area has more than 100 Awing sons and daughters living in that area with about 80 currently members of the DMV branch.


The first NACDA-NA convention was hosted by the DMV branch with 195 participants from all corners of the world (140 Awing sons and daughters and 55 non-Awing elements).


This convention had as guest of honor HRM Fon Fozoh II all the way from Awing- Cameroon.

Other special guests present were Fon Nganjo Kennedy of Njirong, Fon Anyeng of Bamukumbit and Fon Tassah of Tabuchong, all from the North-West fon's councel and some South-West Chiefs.   

 

Other activities during this 3 days events (Friday to Sunday) were the visit to Mongomery County Maryland where HRM Fon Fozoh II received a city Proclamation from Montgomery County Maryland.
