NACDA Georgia is another vibrant branch of NACDA-NA.
NACDA Georgia was the host of the third NACDA-NA Convention which had 214 participants made of 137 Awing sons & daughters and 77 non Awing citizens
The theme of the convention was: "Investing in Awing education today for prosperity tomorrow"
The 4 days event which started on Thursday and ended on Sunday had as guest of honor HRM Fon Fozoh II, King of Awing who came all the way from Awing to grace to occasion.
Other special guests were Emeritus Ntsonke-Fo'o Peter Akote (former general of NACDA in Cameroon) and some leaders of other cultural associations in the state of Georgia.
Other important activities during this convention the visit, tour and meeting of HRM & his delegation to the City of Duluth GA after which there was an exchange of gifts, HRM and his delegation received a key to the city of Duluth and a city Proclamation of Awing Day signed by Mayor Nancy Harris.
